Olivia Cabot-Sawyer

Oliva Cabot Sawyer has spent nearly 50 summers on and around North Haven, Maine. Her paintings portray the undulating waves of ocean waters, playful depictions of scottie dogs at sea and familiar domestic scenes. The artist plays with shadow and reflection, drawing her inspiration from photos that she crops and edits. Her work features subjects with high contrast and views familiar to those who have spent time on North Haven.

Her work has been featured in the Hopkins Wharf Gallery and North Haven Gallery.
