Oliva Cabot Sawyer has spent nearly 50 summers on and around North Haven, Maine. Her paintings portray the undulating waves of ocean waters, playful depictions of scottie dogs at sea and familiar domestic scenes. The artist plays with shadow and reflection, drawing her inspiration from photos that she crops and edits.
