Christopher Minot received a BA from Hampshire College in 1986 before continuing on to earn an MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art institute of Chicago in 1993. First experimenting in constructivist sculpture, his recent work involves the use of mixed media to address themes including nostalgia and the ethereal beauty of the environment. Minot currently lives and workes in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has summered on North Haven for many years, and regularly exhibits at Hopkins Wharf Gallery. His work has also been exhibited in Chicago, New York, Boston, and widely throughout New England.
